# Open topics

Personal Agent Protocol is a draft. Every part of it can still change, including the parts the [specification](/docs/spec) already covers.

This page lists larger areas the draft doesn't cover yet, so it's clear they are left out on purpose and not overlooked. The list isn't complete, and other gaps will come up as people implement the protocol.

- **Payments.** How a personal agent makes payments in a way that fits the protocol, including how that works with existing payment protocols.
- **Push notifications.** How a company reaches the personal agent when no request is open, for example when an order ships or a person replies hours later.
- **Attachments.** How company messages carry more than text and data, such as receipts, return labels, product images, or forms for the user to fill in.
